Your car’s air-conditioner not working is caused by a freon leak or a failing compressor. The AC system is powered by the engine, meaning if your car is in EV mode then the engine has stopped running and won’t power the AC.
If your air-conditioner is on and the fan isn’t blowing cold air then you may have a blown air-conditioner fuse. These fuses protect vehicle components from a possible power surge and even though it may just need to be replaced, however, if your AC fuse keeps popping then it’s possible you have a larger problem. There can be the possibility that the car’s air-conditioner Compressor is affected by a low level of AC refrigerant or a possible leak that has to be looked at.

When your air-conditioning is producing cold air inside your vehicle, it has to displace all of that moisture it uses from outside and flows through the evaporator drain pipe. Another cause could be the AC Refrigerant amount being too low which produces a buildup of condensation since the evaporator coils will freeze up. You need to keep a lookout for faulty seals in the AC compartment or the air-conditioner’s air filters if this problem keeps happening.
