The RDX has a maximum towing capacity of 1,500lbs. Each RDX model has the same pulling capacity whether it’s equipping the standard Front-Wheel Drive or the available SH-AWD®. The base RDX along with the Technology and A-Spec® RDX trims all equip FWD with the Super Handling AWD™ being an option. The available A-Spec® Advance and Advance RDX models only have Super Handling AWD™ using the same 2.0L turbocharged engine.

The RDX standard horsepower is 272hp. Having the 2.0-liter turbocharged Aluminum-Alloy 4-Cylinder engine under the hood for all models of the RDX, 280 lb-ft of torque and 272hp is going to be the only power production for every RDX. Plus a 10-speed auto transmission with paddle shifters delivers some incredible handling ability in your hands.
The Acura RDX curb weight is between 3,776-4,058 pounds. If you prefer the standard RDX, it has a weight of 3,776 lbs using FWD and 4,014 pounds with Super Handling All-Wheel Drive™. The A-Spec® trims curb weight is 3,843 lbs with FWD and 4,025 lbs if the Acura RDX equips SH-AWD®. The biggest build of the RDX is the A-Spec® Advance that just uses Super Handling All-Wheel Drive™ and weighs in at 4,058 lbs.
The RDX has 8.2 in ground clearance. Since the RDX is designed to be a wide-ranging, bold, and exciting SUV, it’s only right that its measurements match those labels. Listing 8.2 inches of ground clearance and the IDS driving modes, you’ll be able to bypass tough roads easily.
